Community and event texts
ShowCourt is operated by SHOWCOURT LLC. Community and event texts require a fresh, separate opt-in for your verified phone number.
Choose optional texts from ShowCourt across your communities: event invitations, offers when a waitlist spot opens, cancellations for events you are going to or waitlisted for, and member or trial acceptance. An acceptance text may include one upcoming event.
Message frequency varies. Invitation texts are limited to two in any seven days per community. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to create an account, use ShowCourt, join a community, or make a purchase.
Your choice applies across your ShowCourt communities. A membership-only preference does not enroll you. Changing your phone number requires a new opt-in for the new number.
After signing in, open Community and event text preferences, select the optional checkbox, and choose “Save and continue.” Leave it unchecked or choose “Not now” to continue without subscribing. You can also open Settings → Text messages → Community and event texts, review the disclosure, and choose “Save text preference.”
To stop this program in Settings, uncheck its checkbox and save. After replying STOP to the messaging number, reply START to remove the carrier block, then review and save a fresh choice in ShowCourt. START alone does not enroll you in community and event texts.
Membership-status texts
ShowCourt is operated by SHOWCOURT LLC. Our community membership status program sends optional texts about your membership application decisions, including acceptance, trial membership, or a declined application, and confirmation when you join an open community.
Your membership-status preference covers those messages across the communities you join on ShowCourt. Messages identify the community and ShowCourt. This preference does not enroll you in event invitations, event updates, or marketing texts.
Message frequency varies with your community membership activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to create an account, use ShowCourt, join a community, or make a purchase.
How you opt in
You choose whether to receive membership-status texts in one of these places:
- When creating an account through a community membership flow, select the optional “Send me membership text updates” checkbox. It starts unchecked, and you can continue without selecting it.
- After signing in, open Settings → Text messages and turn on “Community membership status texts.” You can turn it off again in Settings.
Each opt-in explains the messages you are choosing and links to these SMS terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Service. A phone number, login code, imported contact, or event RSVP alone is not consent to optional texts. We do not carry membership-status consent into a broader event messaging program.
Open Settings to manage text preferences (sign-in required).
Stop, resume, or get help
Reply STOP to a ShowCourt program message to stop optional texts from that messaging number. You can also turn off the preference in Settings. If you previously replied STOP, reply START to the same number to remove the carrier block, then review your preferences in ShowCourt. Turning on a setting cannot remove a carrier block.
Reply HELP for help, or use . Opting out of optional texts does not cancel your account, community membership, or event registration.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Verification codes and privacy
Login verification codes are sent separately when you request them through our authentication provider. Entering the correct code confirms access to your number; it does not subscribe you to this optional messaging program.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared for another party's use. Service providers may process the minimum information needed to deliver messages and provide support for ShowCourt. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
